Advice
The drive towards workforce reform is placing increasing emphasis on the professional development of staff right across children’s services. INTEC provides local authorities and institutions with advice on relevant standards and qualifications, related CPD programmes and sources of funding to support them. It has a broad understanding of the related issues, plus key contacts in the relevant professional associations, statutory bodies and training providers.
Through its work on mapping perceived need against occupational standards, strategic institutional requirements, constraints on individual practitioners, and general day-to-day pressures, it has been able to help:
