Innovative programmes
In conjunction with its partners, INTEC has been instrumental in the creation of a number of integrated programmes that focus on organisational and professional development. With a particular emphasis on self-evaluation and wider workforce issues across children’s services, these tools, especially when combined with expert face-to-face support, have established themselves as market leaders.
INTEC’s programmes are designed to help organisations understand more about themselves and the needs of their stakeholders. In doing this, the programmes help the organisations to operate more efficiently – achieving more for less. Examples include:
- Knowledge sharing – Making important information and local priorities clear to all; whether this relates to decisions about provision or actually delivering services.
- Stakeholder consultation – Finding out more about stakeholders’ views and experiences, eg the professional confidence of practitioners or the experience of those using services.
- Individualised professional development – Providing cost-effective training and professional development based on individual needs analyses.
- Inspection support – Carefully integrated projects that help to prepare organisations, leadership teams and individual practitioners for inspection.
- Championing vulnerable groups – Gathering, analysing and reporting on key information about specific groups of children and young people, following outcomes for the individuals concerned, and empowering those charged with their care.
